THE ARREST & THE “DELUSION”<\/span><\/strong>
Mary confirmed that Robert Jr. was arrested for violating a restraining order filed by his wife’s family.<\/span>
“He went back anyway, thinking that she wants him to come back and save her,”<\/span>\u00a0Mary explained, labeling his mindset as\u00a0<\/span>“delusional.”<\/span><\/strong>
Robert Jr. also pleaded guilty to assaulting a peace officer, a serious charge that has landed him in a cell awaiting sentencing in February 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

WHY SHE WON’T VISIT<\/span><\/strong>
Despite the gravity of the situation, Mary admitted she has not gone to see him.<\/span>
“I can\u2019t go to the jail, Andy. That\u2019s a little weird. I don\u2019t want to look at my child behind a glass,”<\/span>\u00a0she told Andy Cohen.<\/span>
Instead, she relies on daily phone calls where she “preaches” to him, telling him that God is allowing this suffering to force him to change.<\/span><\/p>\n

TOUGH LOVE OR ABANDONMENT?<\/span><\/strong>
Mary\u2019s stance is controversial but rooted in a mother\u2019s fear. She views jail as a rehab of sorts.<\/span>
“I know he\u2019s somewhere where he\u2019s not using,”<\/span>\u00a0she reasoned.\u00a0<\/span>“I\u2019d rather him be there than dead.”<\/span>
Even her husband, Robert Cosby Sr., hasn’t visited, opting to send books instead. The Cosby family is clearly practicing extreme tough love, hoping rock bottom will finally save their son.<\/span><\/p>\n
