\u201cMy mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song,\u201d he alleged in the posts, shared via his Instagram Stories. \u201cIn front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I\u2019ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brooklyn also claimed that Victoria, 51, suddenly\u00a0refused to make a wedding dress<\/a>\u00a0for Nicola, 31, right before their nuptials in 2022, forcing the bride to find an alternative gown in the 11th hour.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn\u2019t stopped. My mum cancelled making Nicola\u2019s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress,\u201d he claimed.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere on his Instagram Story, Brookyln shared\u00a0where he currently stands<\/a>\u00a0with his parents. \u201cI do not want to reconcile with my family,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI\u2019m not being controlled, I\u2019m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cFor my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into. Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they\u2019ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em>\u00a0has reached out to representatives for both David and Victoria for comment.<\/p>\n

In October, a source exclusively told\u00a0Us Weekly<\/em>\u00a0that Brookyln had \u201cno interest\u201d in reconciling with his family.<\/p>\n

\u201cBrooklyn has no interest in mending things at this time,\u201d the insider said at the time. \u201cHe\u2019s really focused on living a peaceful, drama-free life with Nicola. They\u2019ve built their own world together and are very content in it. They want to let things settle naturally rather than trying to fix something that still feels tense.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brooklyn and Peltz first had issues with his family in 2022 ahead, and during, their wedding. It was reported that Peltz left her reception crying after Marc Anthony called Victoria \u201cthe most beautiful woman in the room.\u201d<\/p>\n

In May 2025, the couple\u00a0skipped David\u2019s 50th birthday party<\/a>. Brooklyn clarified what happened in his post, sharing that they still traveled to London for the event.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWe still travelled to London for my dad\u2019s birthday and were rejected for a week as we waited in our hotel room trying to plan quality time with him,\u201d he shared. \u201cHe refused all of our attempts, unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras at every corner. When he finally agreed to see me, it was under the condition that Nicola wasn\u2019t invited. It was a slap in the face. Later, when my family travelled to LA, they refused to see me at all.\u201d<\/p>\n

An insider told Us that it was \u201cheartbreaking\u201d for Victoria and David \u201cto not have all their children together during huge press events for the family, like Victoria\u2019s documentary release.\u201d<\/p>\n
