Whitney Rose<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0called out\u00a0Meredith Marks<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for her \u201clies\u201d during a podcast appearance last week.<\/span><\/p>\n After the airing of the\u00a0first installment<\/a>\u00a0of the three-part reunion for\u00a0The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, which saw the two of them at odds over the\u00a0claims they\u2019d made<\/a>\u00a0against one another, Whitney, 39, accused Meredith,\u00a054, of projecting and being two-faced while also suggesting she was the \u201cweakest link\u201d\u00a0on their cast<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI had to call her out on her B.S. and her lies. She\u2019s one of the most dishonest people,\u201d Whitney explained during a January 15 interview on\u00a0Obsessed: The Podcast<\/a><\/em>. \u201cIn that finale<\/a>, it wasn\u2019t so much about Meredith and her\u00a0alleged drinking<\/a>\u00a0and pill popping, it\u2019s that she was lying to us. She hadn\u2019t shared anything that\u2019s going on in her life.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe person [who] yells \u2018liar\u2019 the loudest, \u2018lies, liar,\u2019 anyone who defaults to that is putting up a shield of defense. And they\u2019re projecting their own stuff onto everyone else. So it was more about her behavior and the way that she\u2019s showing up,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n Looking back at\u00a0BravoCon<\/strong><\/a>, Whitney said she gave Meredith a hug because they were friendly off-camera.<\/p>\n \u201cHere\u2019s the thing about Meredith: When the cameras are down, she\u2019s a completely different person,\u201d Whitney alleged. \u201cThe minute the cameras come up, she turns into this lack of personality,\u00a0she argues in semantics<\/a>, and she just becomes \u2018Meredith Marks.\u2019 But when the cameras are down, she\u2019s my friend.\u201d<\/p>\n Going into the reunion, Whitney said that after Meredith took her kindness at BravoCon and \u201cspun it and twisted it against [her],\u201d she knew she \u201cneeded to strike first.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I did,\u201d she explained, \u201cbecause I had to call her out on her BS and her lies.\u201d<\/p>\n According to Whitney, Meredith is not only problematic as a person who is part of their friend group, but also for the show as a whole.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re an ensemble cast. We\u2019re a team. A group of friends. You\u2019re only as good as your weakest link, and Meredith is our weakest link,\u201d Whitney stated. \u201cShe doesn\u2019t share her life, she doesn\u2019t show up in truth, and she is a really grumpy, angry, ornery person most of the time, and so it\u2019s kind of like that wet blanket that you\u2019re just carrying around.\u201d<\/p>\n
