Georgia Harrison<\/span>\u00a0has revealed\u00a0Prince William<\/span>\u00a0burst out laughing when she did a very \u2018over-the top\u2019 curtsy while receiving her MBE.<\/p>\n

The former Love Island star, 31,\u00a0made history as the first contestant from the hit\u00a0ITV<\/span>\u00a0reality dating show to be given the honour\u00a0for her services to tackling online privacy and cyber\u00a0crime<\/span>\u00a0awareness.<\/p>\n

Georgia was heavily pregnant with her daughter Sahara at the time which she said added to the \u2018theatrical\u2019 nature of her curtsy.<\/p>\n

Speaking to\u00a0OK! magazine<\/span>, she said: \u2018I ended up doing an over-the-top theatrical curtsy, and almost hit the deck.<\/p>\n

\u2018I was this huge pregnant person in heels, arms spread-eagled and trying not to topple over. William cracked up and my family couldn\u2019t believe it.\u2019<\/p>\n

The star also joked she wished she had went into labour while receiving the MBE.<\/p>\n

\u2018I was just trying not to give birth at Windsor Castle,\u2019 she said. \u2018Although part of me sort of wanted to, just for the drama of it \u2013 and maybe the Insta content!\u2019<\/p>\n

Georgia and her partner Jack Stacey welcomed their daughter Sahara Jean in October, not long after she received the honour.<\/p>\n

Georgia sued her ex-boyfriend\u00a0Stephen Bear<\/span>\u00a0for misuse of private information after he shared a video of their sexual encounter without her consent.<\/p>\n

Bear was jailed for 21 months in 2023 after uploading footage of himself and Georgia to\u00a0OnlyFans<\/span>.<\/p>\n

After he was jailed, Georgia waived her right to anonymity to show other victims she stood in \u2018solidarity\u2019 with them.<\/p>\n

Georgia then kicked off a campaign partnered with\u00a0Thames Valley Police (TVP) to \u2018start conversations\u2019 about consent, which she has now been recognised\u00a0for.<\/p>\n

Over the past couple of years, Georgia turned her hand to campaigning on violence against women and girls after becoming a victim of revenge porn.<\/p>\n

Georgia was recognised in the King\u2019s honours list for her powerful campaigning.<\/p>\n

Bear \u2013 famed for his appearances on TV show\u00a0Ex on the Beach<\/span>\u00a0\u2013 was sentenced after a jury found him guilty of voyeurism and disclosing private, sexual photographs and films after he leaked a sex tape of Georgia.<\/p>\n

After hearing the news that her campaigning efforts were officially recognised by\u00a0King Charles<\/span>, Georgia took to social media to thank her fans and supporters.<\/p>\n

She said she was \u2018so grateful\u2019 for the recognition after sharing her painful journey publicly.<\/p>\n

The TV star penned: \u2018I am beyond honoured to be listed to receive an MBE!!<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019m so grateful to anyone who has reached out to congratulate me and also to all of you who have shared and continue to share your stories with me along the way.<\/p>\n

\u2018I am continuously reading them all, taking on board your experiences and using them as both fuel and knowledge for my campaigning.\u2019<\/p>\n

She added: \u2018My experience changed me in many ways but one of those ways was that I became a voice for the women that can\u2019t be heard.\u2019<\/p>\n
