Minnesota\u00a0Gov. Tim Walz<\/a>\u00a0activated the state\u2019s National Guard in the wake of the fatal shooting of an armed Minneapolis man who allegedly tried to intervene as federal agents arrested a migrant.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear how many Guard members are being called in, as National Guard Major Gen. Shawn Menke called the number \u201cadequate for this request,\u201d referring to a plea for assistance from the Hennepin County Sheriff\u2019s office.<\/p>\n

Walz slammed the Trump administration Saturday, declaring state authorities would probe\u00a0the fatal shooting of Alex Jeffrey Pretti<\/a>.<\/p>\n
