Should you ever feel bad about confusing, say, Amy Adams and Isla Fisher, just know that even director Ron Howard mistook Jessica Chastain for his daughter Bryce Dallas Howard.<\/p>\n

Some celebrities do their best acting when there are no cameras in sight.<\/p>\n

Take the time\u00a0Elizabeth Banks<\/strong>\u00a0was out in Toronto, \u201cand a guy walked up to me and said, \u2018Oh my god, my girlfriend loves you. She would die if I didn\u2019t get your autograph. This is so exciting!’\u201d the\u00a0Hunger Games<\/em>\u00a0actress recounted to comedian\u00a0Chelsea Handler<\/strong>\u00a0while appearing on her\u00a0Chelsea Lately<\/em>\u00a0talk show back in 2011.<\/p>\n

But as he want on to praise her books, including 2005\u2019s\u00a0My Horizonal Life<\/em>, \u201cI was like, \u2018Oh, he thinks he\u2019s meeting Chelsea Handler,’\u201d Banks continued. \u201cI couldn\u2019t ruin it for him!\u201d<\/p>\n

Dare we say it was a pitch-perfect response?<\/p>\n

And should you commit a similar mix-up\u2014like\u00a0the woman who believed she spied\u00a0Carrie Underwood<\/strong>,\u00a0not<\/em>\u00a0Reese Witherspoon<\/strong>, dining out on barbecue\u2014the odds are in your favor that the celebrity doppelg\u00e4nger in question would follow suit.<\/p>\n

Even\u00a0B<\/strong>ryce Dallas Howard<\/strong>\u2018s own father, director\u00a0Ron Howard<\/strong>, has gotten tripped up over how much the actress looks like\u00a0Jessica Chastain<\/strong>, her costar in 2011\u2019s\u00a0The Help<\/em>.<\/p>\n

So while Chastain is well aware she is kind, smart and important, she\u2019s unbothered by fans confusing her for the\u00a0Jurassic World Dominion<\/em>\u00a0star.<\/p>\n

Back when she first started working \u201coff-off-off Broadway,\u201d she\u00a0recounted during\u00a0a 2015 appearance\u00a0on\u00a0The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em>, a group of teens approached her on the subway, asking if she was an actress.<\/p>\n

As they began gushing about her work in the 2004 period thriller\u00a0The Village<\/em>, \u201cI had this moment of, do I tell them that they\u2019re wrong and it\u2019s not me, or do I just pretend I\u2019m Bryce,\u201d Chastain continued. \u201cAnd as one does, I pretended I was Bryce.\u201d<\/p>\n

Of course, she\u2019s hardly the first star to play a little make-believe. From\u00a0Katy Perry<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Zooey Deschanel<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0Amy Adams<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Isla Fisher<\/strong>, we challenge you not to do a double-take at some of these celebrity lookalikes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

At an Apple Store, \u201cI was, like, walking by, I was like, \u2018Oh, that\u2019s Ron Howard,’\u201d Chastain recalled. \u201cAnd then my friend was with me (and) said he turned to someone, he goes, \u2018I think I just saw Bryce.\u2019 We look so much alike.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bryce confirmed that the story was \u201clegit\u201d in an interview with\u00a0Entertainment Tonight<\/em>, saying her dad \u201cwas, like, shook. He really was.\u201d<\/p>\n
