Ryan Seacrest Rings Nasdaq\u2019s Closing Bell Ahead of \u2018Dick Clark\u2019s New Year\u2019s Rockin\u2019 Eve\u2019<\/h3>\n

Seacrest celebrated his 21st year hosting the long-running NYE special on Wednesday at Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square.<\/p>\n<\/header>\n

Before\u00a0Ryan Seacrest\u00a0hosted\u00a0Dick Clark\u2019s New Year\u2019s Rockin\u2019 Eve<\/em>\u00a0for the 21st time, he celebrated the New Year by ringing in Nasdaq\u2019s closing bell.<\/p>\n

The longtime TV host visited Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square on Wednesday ahead of the night\u2019s broadcast, where he teased a literally record-breaking show. With the show\u2019s length being extended to a whopping eight-hours, the 2025-2026 edition marks the longest telecast in\u00a0Dick Clark\u2019s New Year\u2019s Rockin\u2019 Eve<\/em>\u2018s history.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can see the excitement on my face, because tonight is the night I look forward to all year long,\u201d Seacrest said during the closing bell ceremony. \u201cI\u2019ve done this now, this will be my 21st year hosting\u00a0Dick Clark\u2019s New Year\u2019s Rockin\u2019 Eve<\/em>. And tonight, we are going to break records with the longest show in history, the most packed show in history with talent.\u201d<\/div>\n

Seacrest noted the star-studded list of slated performances, which included Diana Ross as the night\u2019s\u00a0headliner. \u201cWe\u2019ve got everybody from 50 Cent, we\u2019ve got\u00a0KPop Demon Hunters<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 if you were popular in 2025, you\u2019re with us tonight for\u00a0Dick Clark\u2019s New Year\u2019s Rockin\u2019 Eve<\/em>, with me, Ryan Seacrest. Just before midnight, Diana Ross will take the stage. We cannot wait for that,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Seacrest is joined by co-hosts Rita Ora, Chance the Rapper, Rob Gronkowski, Julianne Hough and Roselyn S\u00e1nchez, and the\u00a0broadcast\u00a0kicked off at 8 p.m. ET\/5 p.m. PT on ABC. Additional\u00a0performers\u00a0included\u00a0Chappell Roan, Charlie Puth, Demi Lovato, Maren Morris,\u00a0Mariah Carey, OneRepublic,\u00a0Pitbull and Post Malone.<\/p>\n

At the bell ringing, the\u00a0Live with Kelly and Ryan<\/em>\u00a0host was also joined by Jay Penske, CEO of Dick Clark Productions and chairman\/CEO of Penske Media Corporation. \u201cI\u2019m so grateful for the teams at Dick Clark, Penske Media and, of course, our friends at ABC who sacrifice so much of their holidays to make this amazing show broadcast all over America,\u201d Penske added. \u201cWe are so excited to ring in the New Year\u2019s with all of you on ABC!\u201d<\/p>\n

New Year\u2019s Rockin\u2019 Eve<\/em>\u00a0is regarded as the most-watched New Year\u2019s Eve celebration. Last year\u2019s special drew more than 29 million total viewers at midnight, according to Nielsen live plus same-day data.<\/p>\n

The show is produced by Dick Clark Productions, with\u00a0Seacrest, Michael Dempsey and Barry Adelman serving as executive producers. DCP is owned by Penske Media Corporation, parent company of\u00a0The Hollywood Reporter.<\/em><\/p>\n
