The cast of The Pitt has scrubbed in for season 2, and so have some of their real-life significant others.
The critically acclaimed HBO Max medical drama, which stars Noah Wyle and Katherine LaNasa, returned for a second season on Jan. 8, taking place over a 15-hour shift in Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center’s emergency room on the Fourth of July.
Although Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch is single on the show, he has been married off-screen for over a decade to his wife, Sara Wyle.
During his acceptance speech at the 2026 Golden Globes for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series — just days after season 2 premiered — he made sure to give Sara a special shout-out on stage.
“I’ve been supported by an incredible wife and three great children all along the way,” he shared.
At the conclusion of his speech, he added in a special birthday message for Sara: “Lastly, to my beautiful wife, Sara, happy birthday. I hope you’re enjoying your party.”
While Sara and LaNasa’s husband, Grant Show, lend their support off-screen, the significant others of two other stars will be making their debut on the show this season.
Here’s everything to know about the real-life loves of The Pitt cast.
Noah Wyle and Sara Wyle

Noah Wyle, who leads The Pitt cast as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, has been married to his wife, Sara Wyle, since June 7, 2014.
Their nuptials took place at their home in Santa Barbara, Calif. “It was beautiful. It was great. It was a very small ceremony – we have this little farm in California,” the actor announced on The View following the wedding.
Almost exactly a year after tying the knot, the couple, who first met in 2010, welcomed their daughter Frances on June 22, 2015.
Previously, Noah was married to Tracy Warbin, with whom he shares son Owen, born Nov. 9, 2002, and daughter Auden, born Oct. 15, 2005.
Katherine LaNasa and Grant Show

Katherine LaNasa stars as Dana Evans, the no-nonsense charge nurse of the Emergency Department at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center. In real life, she’s been married to her husband, actor Grant Show, for over a decade.
The couple first crossed paths in 2006 while filming the HBO series Big Love, and announced their engagement in July 2012.
One month after sharing their engagement news, LaNasa and Show married on Aug. 18, 2012, at The Oak Grove at Ribbit Tree & Plant Nursery in Topanga, Calif. “We’re so happy we found each other,” they told PEOPLE after the nuptials.
LaNasa and Show welcomed their daughter, Eloise, on March 25, 2014.
The actress also has a son, Henry, whom she shares with her first husband, Dennis Hopper. Henry was born on Sept. 11, 1990.
When LaNasa took home the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series at the 2025 Emmy Awards, the actress not only expressed how “proud and honored” she felt, but she also gave her family a special shout-out.
“Lastly, my children for making me real, and my beautiful husband Grant Show for helping me always with everything,” she said.
Patrick Ball and Elysia Roorbach
Patrick Ball plays Dr. Frank Langdon in The Pitt. In real life, he’s been dating girlfriend Elysia Roorbach since 2023.
The couple first met in Miami while working on a stage adaptation of Las Aventuras de Juan Planchard, and began dating on Oct. 12, 2023.
Just as Albanese appeared on The Pitt’s season 2 premiere, fans can expect to see Roorbach on-screen this season as well.
“It was a dream,” he told HELLO! in January 2026 of getting to act alongside his girlfriend. In the show, Frank is called on to treat her character, who is struggling after an accident involving her eye.
“We get to turn around and play pretend together again: I get to be her doctor, and [her character] wanted nothing to do with me, and that also felt right,” he said.
However, he said he had “nothing to do with” Roorbach getting cast in the role, adding that she “auditioned the old-fashioned way and got the job and it was a real dream come true.”
Shawn Hatosy and Kelly Albanese

Shawn Hatosy made a big impact as Robby’s old friend Dr. Jack Abbot in season 1 of The Pitt. Off-screen, he’s been married to wife Kelly Albanese since 2010.
The couple said “I do” at Tivoli Terrace (now Terra Laguna Beach) in Laguna Beach, Calif., on Dec. 18, 2010.
They share three sons together: Cassius, Leo and Finn.
During his acceptance speech at the 2025 Creative Arts Emmys, where he won for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series, he thanked Albanese in his speech.
“To my wife who I love, and you’re my partner and my world, and I love you endlessly, and I wouldn’t be here without your sacrifices,” he said onstage.
Although Hatosy was not in the season 2 premiere of The Pitt, Albanese made an appearance in the episode as Reina Burgess, the wife of a patient who had been dealing with leg cramps for several days.
“My wife Kelly auditioned, and happened to get the part; she has her stage name which is different than my last name,” the actor told HELLO!.
He added, “I didn’t get to work with her, though because Abbot for some reason doesn’t appear in the first couple of episodes!”

Alexandra Metz, who portrays Dr. Yolanda Garcia on the series, has been married to her husband Zachariah Pierce Groll since 2021.
While the couple has not publicly shared where or how they met, they got engaged in December 2020. They tied the knot privately in California on May 17, 2021, followed by a celebration with family and friends on Oct. 8, 2022, in Campbellsport, Wis.
The artist has publicly shown support for Metz and the show, writing on Instagram the day of the 2025 Emmy Awards: “So proud of my stunning and talented wife.”
