Craig Conover has been enjoying the single life in his hot tub on Southern Charm — but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t still rekindle his old flame with Paige DeSorbo.
During Season 11, Episode 6’s gentleman’s dinner, Whitney Sudler-Smith’s friend (and first-time attendee) Dr. Stephen Hammond guessed that Craig was “the person most likely to be in a serious relationship,” instantly calling to mind his and Paige’s breakup that had occurred roughly six months prior, at that point.
“I was in a three-year relationship, had bought a ring, thought we were going to get married, and she left, so…” Craig responded, referencing the Summer House alum.

That’s when Craig went on to make a jaw-dropping statement about potentially getting back together with Paige.
“But I wish we could go back,” he revealed. “Like, I can’t lie to you and not say that I wouldn’t take her back. … It takes a while for your heart to catch up to your brain.”
His fellow guests at Whitney and Miss Patricia Altschul’s guys’ dinner — including Austen Kroll, Shep Rose, and Whitner Slagsvol — appeared to be stunned by Craig’s admission. In a confessional, Shep reacted by telling a producer, “I’m very surprised that he said he’d get back with her.”
How Craig Conover’s split from Paige impacted his friendships
Craig, meanwhile, noted that “it sucks that all of that happened” with Paige before declaring that he was confident that he could still “find a girl” who is right for him. After all, as he put it, “I was good at being single at one point in my life.”
Earlier on Southern Charm‘s Jan. 7 episode, Craig had already shared with Whitner that he had “a really good therapy session with ChatGPT” recently, which helped him see how his and Paige’s late 2024 split had impacted one of his friendships in particular.
“I figured out why I snapped on Austen,” Craig said, amid their ongoing friendship drama. “Like, I feel so wronged by the fallout from, like, my breakup.”

He elaborated in a confessional, “Austen keeping Audrey [Pratt] in a relationship when he knows they aren’t gonna get married isn’t fair. I was on the other side of this with Paige, and I think you’ve gotta let the person go live their life, you know?”
