Teddi Mellencamp is in the fight of her life. While the former RHOBH star tries to stay positive, her father, music icon John Mellencamp, has offered a devastatingly honest update on her condition.
THE FATHER’S CONFESSION
Speaking on the Joe Rogan Experience, John didn’t mince words.
“I do have a daughter that’s really sick. It’s not fcking fun,”* he shared. “She’s got cancer in the brain, and she’s suffering right now.”
His comments confirm that despite previous hopeful updates, the reality of stage 4 melanoma is grueling and painful.
TEDDI’S PTSD STRUGGLE
Teddi returned to Two Ts in a Pod to address her absence, revealing the mental toll of her diagnosis.
“I’m struggling with like, massive PTSD from everything that happened,” she admitted.
She has been in therapy and resting, trying to process the trauma of emergency brain surgeries and the discovery of tumors in her lungs.
THE MEDICAL REALITY
While Teddi announced months ago that scans showed “no detectable cancer,” she clarified she is not in remission.
“I still need to stay on immunotherapy for another year,”
she explained. “I’m still gonna be having days when I’m feeling sick.”
John’s comments suggest those “sick days” are frequent and severe.
THE VERDICT
Teddi Mellencamp is a fighter, but her father’s raw emotion serves as a reminder that this battle is far from over. The “cloud is lifting,” but the storm remains.
