The last ever words of the 37-year-old mom and poet killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer in Minneapolis were captured during the fateful few seconds between driving away and tragically being shot dead.

Phone footage from the agent who shot Renee Nicole Good appears to show the mom-of-three’s final poignant words to ICE before being shot by federal agents. Good tells the officer: “That’s fine, dude. I’m not mad at you,”

A few seconds later, an ICE officer tells her to get out of her Honda Pilot, but her car moves forward and what happened next has now been broadcast around the country, with the officer taking out his gun and shooting into Good’s vehicle.

In a marked contrast to Good’s benevolent words, the ICE agent can then be heard calling her a ‘f***ing b*tch* just seconds after firing his weapon and fatally killing the mom in her car, which barrels off towards the curb.

Barely 40 seconds elapse between the officer demanding that Good step out of her vehicle and her being fatally shot while attempting to drive away, which the Trump administration has repeatedly insisted was an attack on ICE.

The federal agent who shot Good dead has since been identified as Jonathan Ross, who works in the ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Special Response Team.

The Department for Homeland Security has claimed that Ross’ shots were ‘defensive’ and that Good was carrying out an act of ‘domestic terrorism’ when she drove her vehicle.

But Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey has had nothing but harsh words for immigration agency since the shooting, telling ICE to ‘get the f*ck out’ of the city, adding separately that DHS’ claims are wrong. “Having seen the video of myself, I want to tell everybody directly that is b—s—,” he said.

While many who viewed the ICE agent’s cell phone footage were appalled, the video was quickly shared on White House socials, with Vice President JD Vance called it a ‘tragedy’ but said that the officer was under threat.

DHS confirmed that the footage was real and said in a statement that Good “was impeding law enforcement and weaponized her vehicle in an attempt to kill or cause bodily harm to federal law enforcement” and the “officer was in fear of his own life”.

But on a state level, officials have stated that they will seek criminal charges against Ross for the fatal shooting, with Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty calling on the public to submit any evidence that could help their investigation.

This is despite claims from both the White House and Vice President Vance that Minnesota will not be able to pursue the ICE agent for the fatal shooting of one of the state’s residents.

Renee’s wife Becca Good, who was present at the shooting, has told MPR in a tribute to her wife: “Renee was a Christian who knew that all religions teach the same essential truth: we are here to love each other, care for each other, and keep each other safe and whole.”

She added that they had used whistles to show their opposition to ICE in Minneapolis, which federal officers had opposed with guns.

It comes after Kash Patel’s FBI shut down the investigation access

Vice President JD Vance has indicated that the ICE agent responsible for the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good in Minnesota will not face any charges.

Addressing members of the press on Thursday, Vance told reporters that the agent has ‘absolute immunity’ from any charges as a consequence of the death.

“He was doing his job,” Vance explained.

“The idea that Tim Walz and a bunch of radicals are going to go after and make this guy’s life miserable because he was doing the job that he was asked to do is preposterous.”

During the briefing, a reporter asked the vice president why Minnesota’s investigations agency had said that the US attorney’s office had ‘essentially cut off the state investigations agency’s access to the investigation,’ and what the precedent was for such a restriction.

In response, Vance quickly retorted: “First of all, I wish the state officials in Minnesota would investigate why you have so many people who are using their vehicles and other means to actually interfere with a legitimate law enforcement operation.”

“The precedent here is very simple,” he continued. “You have a federal law enforcement official engaging in federal law enforcement action. That’s a federal issue.

“That guy is protected by absolute immunity,” Vance commented. “I’ve never seen anything like that. It would get tossed out by a judge.”

Vance’s comments come after reports emerged that Kash Patel’s FBI had shut down the investigation access, as they didn’t want to participate in a joint investigation.

This lack of co-operation has led state authorities to complain that they have been unable to access crucial evidence in the case.

The head of the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Drew Evans, said that the U.S. attorney’s office had barred it from taking part in the investigation.

He added: “The investigation would now be led solely by the FBI, and the BCA would no longer have access to the case materials, scene evidence or investigative interviews necessary to complete a thorough and independent investigation.”

Renee Nicole Good, 37, was fatally shot during an altercation with immigration enforcement officials on Wednesday.

While the circumstances surrounding her death continue to remain unclear, the Department of Homeland Security claimed that the woman ‘weaponized her vehicle’ and branded the incident an ‘act of domestic terrorism’ – a view that was later reiterated by President Trump.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, however, has rejected this view and instead argued that the ICE officer who shot and killed the motorist acted ‘recklessly’ and rejected federal officials’ claims that the officer had acted in self-defense.

Karoline Leavitt's family member freed from ICE after facing deportation in bombshell revelation

Bruna Ferreira was detained by ICE almost a month ago

The mother of Karoline Leavitt’s nephew is said to have been freed by ICE.

On November 12, Brazilian native Bruna Ferreira was taken into custody by ICE and is now facing deportation. She was on her way to pick up her son from school when she was apprehended by ICE officers and sent to the South Louisiana ICE Processing Center.

Ferreira shares a son with Leavitt’s brother, Michael Leavitt, who lives in New Hampshire. The pair were once engaged but have been broken up for some time.

Ferreira was branded a ‘criminal illegal alien’ by ICE. A Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokesperson told the Daily Beast: “She entered the U.S. on a B2 tourist visa that required her to depart the U.S. by June 6, 1999.

“Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, all individuals unlawfully present in the United States are subject to deportation.”

But her sister argued that Ferreira, 33, insisted that she was more American than Brazilian and has been in the States since she was six years old.

Karoline allegedly didn’t reach out to Ferreira after the incident but her father, Bob Leavitt, suggested that the mother of his grandson should ‘self deport’ back to Brazil.

Now, after almost a month in custody, Ferreira has been freed on bond.

Per The Washington Post, Immigration Judge Cynthia Goodman ordered Ferreira, a Massachusetts resident, to be set free on the lowest-dollar bond possible. She had to pay $1,500.

Elsewhere, her lawyers branded the reports that Ferreira is an ‘illegal alien’ with a criminal record as ‘unfair and untrue’. Public records show that the mom-of-one has no criminal convictions.

At the hearing, a lawyer representing the Department of Homeland Security didn’t object to the 33-year-old’s release and agreed that the mother isn’t a danger to society or a flight risk.

Ferreira herself spoke to The Post before her release and refuted the reports that she doesn’t look after her son and that he solely lives with his father. She also denied that she hasn’t had contact with the Leavitt family for years and insisted that she sees that side of the family frequently while visiting her son or cheering him on at school or in sports.

Elsewhere, Ferreira branded the claims that her 11-year-old son has never lived with her as ‘disgusting’. She shares custody of him with her ex Michael, whom she split from 10 years ago.

Relative of Karoline Leavitt savagely calls her out in first interview after being released from ICE custody

Bruna Ferreira, whose son is the nephew of the White House press secretary, was detained by ICE in November

Karoline Leavitt has been called out by her own relative after she was kept in ICE custody for almost a month.

On November 12, Brazilian-born Bruna Ferreira, from Massachusetts, was detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and held for weeks, during which she feared deportation back to the country she hasn’t lived in for decades.

The mom was on her way to collect her 11-year-old son, Leavitt’s nephew and godson, when officers apprehended her and sent her to the South Louisiana ICE Processing Center, more than 1,500 miles away from where she was arrested.

An immigration judge later ordered her release on $1,500 bond after 26 days in custody.

Ferreira shares a son with Michael Leavitt, the brother of the White House press secretary. The couple separated before formally tying the knot around a decade ago.

Now, the 33-year-old has slammed what would’ve been her sister-in-law in an interview with CNN’s OutFront.

In her scathing direct call to Leavitt, she said: “I think what I would have to say to Karoline is, just because you went to Catholic school, doesn’t make you a good Catholic.

“You’re a mother, and you should know. How would you feel if you were in my shoes? How would you feel if somebody did this to you? Because at the end of the day, nobody is above the law, and this could happen to you.”

The mom claimed that not only has she not spoken to Leavitt since being detained, but she hasn’t been able to see her son since her release. Ferreira also alleged that she has tried to make contact but has been ordered to wear a GPS ankle monitor, meaning she can’t leave her home.

The White House said in a statement to The Mirror US that the boy has lived full-time with Michael in New Hampshire since birth and has never lived with Ferreira.

“This individual is the mother of Karoline’s nephew and they have not spoken in many years. The child has lived full-time in New Hampshire with his father since he was born. He has never resided with his mother,” the spokesperson said.

However, Ferreira and her attorneys have slammed the statement as entirely ‘false’.

A Department of Homeland Security spokesperson also called Ferreira a ‘criminal illegal alien’ in the eyes of the law, alleging further that she has been arrested on suspicion of battery, which her attorney also denies.

“ICE arrested Bruna Caroline Ferreria, a criminal illegal alien from Brazil,” the spokesperson said in a statement. “She has a previous arrest for battery. She entered the U.S. on a B2 tourist visa that required her to depart the U.S. by June 6, 1999.”

Yet the mom told CNN that she’s lived in the US since she was six years old and denies having any criminal history, adding: “I don’t even have a parking ticket, and I’m so proud of it.”

Her attorney, Todd Pomerleau, added that she was granted entry and temporary protection in the US under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) as a child but has since been unable to renew her status a few years ago.

He added that his client is a victim of ‘false character assassination’.

Now, DHS says she is required to ‘have periodic mandatory check-ins with ICE law enforcement to ensure she is abiding by the terms of her release,’ until her case is heard in Boston immigration court.

“I’m trying to understand and have faith that there’s some logical explanation behind any of this, but there isn’t,” Ferreira said in response.

“I’m not the first. I’m surely not going to be the last. There’s thousands of women and families and children being separated daily. Where does it end? When does it stop?”

UNILAD has contacted the White House and the DHS for comment.

Man who heroically saved 9-year-old girl from shark attack arrested by ICE just days later

Leah Lendel was attacked by a shark last month and nearly lost her hand in the ordeal

A man who helped save a young girl from a shark attack is now facing deportation after he was detained by authorities on June 14.

Just a few days earlier on June 11, nine-year-old Leah Lendel was enjoying an afternoon snorkelling on the beach off Boca Grande, Florida, when she was suddenly attacked by a shark.

Leah nearly lost her hand in the scary ordeal but fortunately, due to the emergency service workers’ quick thinking to air lift the youngster to hospital, surgeons were able to save her hand from being amputated.

Speaking from hospital after the horrifying ordeal, Leah told reporters: “I was just snorkelling, and then I went up to breathe. Then something hard bit me and tried to tug me away. I looked at my hand, and it was covered in blood. I started screaming for my mom.”

As well as medical professionals, several good samaritans who were on the beach at the time of the attack rushed to help, one being Luis Alvarez.

According to witnesses, Luis, 31, was the first person to jump into the water to help Leah.

Raynel Lugo, who also helped Leah, said of Luis’ heroic actions: “He jumped in the water to take the shark out of her hand.”

He added that his friend is ‘just that kind of person’.

Raynel went to to tell Gulf Coast News: “He’s a great guy. He’s always talking good stuff about the family, you know, fighting to get a better life for his family, working so hard and being in this country.”

But in the days that followed Luis’ kind act, he was pulled over by police in the early hours of June 14 because he reportedly had no headlights on his vehicle, according to an arrest warrant.

Officers then went on to learn that Luis was driving without a licence and arrested him. He’s now being held in custody by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

It’s believed that Luis has been in the US for over two years and has never held a driving license during this time.

As it stands it is unclear why Luis is being held by ICE as immigration attorney Ricardo Skerrett says he is authorizied to work in the US.

“He is someone with a work permit that is legally authorized to work here in the United States, is told by police for driving without a license,” Skerrett explained.

“I don’t know why this person is being detained by ICE if he had a work permit, unless he has a criminal background.”

Luis is said to have a court date scheduled for July 9.
